Vihara members have organized අළුත් අවුරුදු food fair to be held on April 8th and 15th at the Vihara. Ten families from Houston. Willis, and Beaumont–those who have special skills in each category–have volunteered to prepare these රස කැවිලි වර්ග.  The items will be available at the Vihara on two Sundays: April 8th (from 10:00 am) and 15th (from 9:00 am).

The list of foods includes:

• කොකිස්
• කොණ්ඩ  කැවුම්
• මුං කැවුම්
• පැණි අලුවා
• කිරි ටොෆි
• අග්ගලා
• බිබික්කං ( අවුරුදු fruit cakes)
• රුලන් කේක්
• වැලි තලප

Individual packets are priced as follows:

• කොකිස්: 10 for $3.00
• කොණ්ඩ  කැවුම්: 10 for $8:00
• මුං කැවුම්: 10 for $5.00
• පැණි අලුවා: 10 for $5.00
• කිරි ටොෆි: 5oz (15-20 pieces) for $3.00
• අග්ගලා: 5 for 3:00
• බිබික්කං: 10 medium size pieces for 5:00
• රුලන් කේක්: 10 for 5
• වැලි තලප: 10 for 5

And large packets (containing one packet each of every item mentioned above) is priced at $40 each. We may also have අතිරස කැවුම් and a very limited quantity of ආස්මී. (Ask me later!).

The funds raised by the sale will be used to construct an overhead arch at the main entrance of the Vihara
